Weatherwall Airconditioners

Poor efficiency and the majority of breakdowns on Weatherwall facia mount airconditioners are caused by old and worn capacitors, burnt wires, dirty filters and dirty indoor coils (it is like having a dirty radiator and old spark plugs on a car). We supply a kit which includes:

2uF fan capacitor (to suit most models)

4uF fan capacitor (to suit most models)

35uF compressor capacitor (to suit most models)

Filter media (this is oversized and can be cut to suit all models)

We suggest that once you receive the kit you call a local airconditioning technician or electrician to come and fit it. If technicians you call are more interested in an easy callout and diagnosing a replacement unit they will unlikely to be willing to come and fit the kit. Many of these techncians will suggest that they come and look at the unit first. This is not a good idea.

Have this kit on hand so that when your technician arrives and decides it is needed you do not have further delay and cost of a return visit.

Many airconditioning technicians will tell you that if the unit is not working well it is because it is old, and that if it is not heating or cooling (as required) that the compressor is unserviceable. In the majority of cases this is not correct and they are simply not inclined to try and repair something. Diagnosing a compressor as faulty earns them a quick easy callout with the prospect of selling a profitable new installation. Today is a throwaway society, if something is old or doesn't work you are expected to throw it out and replace with a new one, it doesn't matter if it is a kettle, a toaster or an airconditioner.

Soenoid for reversing valve :

240 volt and suitable for all facia model Weatherwall airconditioners. The physical shape may be quite different to your existing part however it will work fine.
